Kajol and Tanuja never fail to give family goals. No matter how she is, Kajol makes it a point to spend quality time with her darling mother. From holidays to brunch dates, they do it all with utmost ease. On a fine Saturday, Kajol decided to take the veteran actress out for shopping. In the clip, shared on Instagram, Kajol can be seen holding Tanuja’s hand as they step out of a store in Mumbai. For her casual day out, the Tribhangaa actress opted for a colour-blocked black and white shirt paired with black trousers. On the other hand, Tanuja exuded ageless charm in a printed longline top which she teamed up with black joggers.

Kajol never leaves the opportunity to express her deep admiration for Tanuja. Last year, on the 80th birthday of the veteran actress, Kajol shared a sweet birthday note, accompanied by a video. The clip featured Kajol saying, “Happy eightieth birthday, mom. I can never thank you enough for everything you’ve taught me by example and still continue to do so today. I love you to bits and pieces. (Kisses).”

Sharing the video on Instagram, Kajol wrote, “Eight decades of love, wisdom, and laughter! Happy Birthday to my incredible Mom!

Last year in December, Tanuja was hospitalised due to age-related illnesses. Sharing deatils about her health, a PTI source was quoted Kajol as saying, “She is under observation and is doing well. There’s nothing to worry about.”

Workwise, Kajol is set to appear in the action film Maharagni – Queen Of Queens. The film also features Samyuktha, Prabhu Deva, Naseeruddin Shah, Jishu Sen Gupta, Aditya Seal, Chaya Kadam, and Pramod Pathak in pivotal roles. Written and directed by Charantej Uppalapati, the film’s teaser was released last month and garnered a mixed response from the audience.

Kajol also has several other projects lined up. The actress will be seen in Sarzameen, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and debutant Ibrahim Ali Khan.
