Marathi actress and producer, Shweta Shinde’s house in Satara, Maharashtra was recently robbed by thieves. The incident has left the industry shocked. As per reports, no one was injured during the incident. The theft took place on June 3, Monday, where the actress lives with her mother, but nobody was home at that time.

Shweta Shinde has filed a report at the nearest police station regarding the theft case and the police are investigating the matter. Reportedly, the theft incident took place when the actress was in Mumbai for work. On June 3, the burglary took place and reportedly looted jewellery worth about 110 grams and some cash.

After filing the complaint, the actress in a media interaction opened up about the incident. She said, “My house in Satar was robbed on June 3, Monday night. I have come to complain about that. 10 tolas of gold and money have been stolen.” However, it is not known how much cash has been stolen.” She is positive that the criminals get caught soon.

Shweta Shinde is known for her work as a producer in the serial Lagira Zala Ji and Doctor Don. She has acted in hit serials like 1998 CID, Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, Tumhari Disha, Vadalvaat, Maharashtracha Nach Baliye, Lakshya, Unch Majha Zoka and Nave Lakshya to name a few. Apart from this, she has also appeared in Hindi and Marathi films. She starred in the blockbuster film, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha as Sakina’s friend. Apart from this, she is known for other films like Baap Re Baap Dokyala Taap, Jawai Bapu Zindabad, Yelkot Yelkot Jai Malhar, Ladi Godi, Dhating Dhingana, Deool Band and Toh Aani Me.

She tied the knot to Sandeep Bhansali in 2007 and even has a daughter. In 2016, along with fellow film director Sanjay Khambe, she kickstarted her own production house called Vajra Production.

Shweta Shinde is currently focused on backing projects instead of acting. She has produced Devmanus film, a thriller drama directed by Raju Sawant and Amit Sawardekar and aired on Zee Marathi. Currently, she is bankrolling the recently released serial Appi Aamchi Collector. It stars Shivani Naik, Santosh Patil, Parshuram Rohit, Sunil Dongar and Neelam Wadekar, to name a few.
