Best Selling SUVs: Maruti Suzuki’s newly launched SUV Fronx is doing well in the market. The company launched it in April this year. In May 2023, the company sold 143,708 units of cars in the domestic market. Maruti Suzuki sold around 33,000 units of its SUV lineup last month, which includes the Brezza, Fronx and the Grand Vitara.
Impressive sales of Franks
The company sold 9,683 units of the Franks in May 2023. Initially, it was speculated that the new franks might impact the sales of the Baleno hatchback, but that doesn’t seem to be happening. The Baleno remained the best selling car in the country in May 2023 with 18,733 units sold.

Hyundai Creta was the best selling SUV in May with sales of 14,449 units. Tata Nexon secured the second position with sales of 14,423 units, while Brezza stood third with sales of 13,398 units. Punch and Venue secured the fourth and fifth positions respectively. Franks finished sixth.
Features of Maruti Franks
It has been given 1.2 liter naturally aspirated and 1.0 liter booster jet engine. The car’s 1.2 liter 4 cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine gives power of 90bhp. This engine generates peak torque of 113 Nm. At the same time, the 1.0 liter 3 cylinder turbo booster jet petrol engine generates 100 bhp power and 147.6 Nm peak torque.
