Shiv Sena’s (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut also slammed the central government for keeping “silence” on China despite the latter’s “intrusion”.
Shiv Sena’s (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut on Friday said West Bengal, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Bihar and Andhra Pradesh will decide the country’s “fate” and change power after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
He slammed the central government for its “silence” on China despite the latter’s “intrusion”.
Raut, a key aide of former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, said during an interview at an event here, “There will definitely be a change of power in the country after 2024. I can say this with a lot of confidence.”
He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s “real strength” lay in inciting Hindu-Muslim riots and creating an atmosphere of tension between India and Pakistan for electoral gains.
Criticizing the central government’s silence on China, he said, “Then why not create an atmosphere of tension between India and China because China has intruded into the country.” Raut alleged that he spoke a word on China.
He also said that the Hindutva of the BJP is “stolen and fake”.
