Telangana Chief Minister and TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao has made it clear that there is no plan to hold early elections and the state will go to polls in 2023 after the completion of its five-year term.

KCR attended a joint meeting of TRS Parliamentary Party and Legislature Party at Telangana Bhavan, with the Speaker’s party saying there was no need for early elections. He said TRS would win the Huzurabad bypoll on October 30 and he may address a public meeting on October 26 or 27.

Since voters are happy with Kalyan and Dalit brothers, TRS will retain its seat for further welfare programmes, KCR said.

Rao reiterated that on November 27, a massive Vijay Garjana Sabha would be organized in Warangal. His aim is to bring about 10 lakh people and make Vijaya Roarna a huge success and give a lesson to the opposition.

CM also talked about the victory of TRS in Huzurabad by-election and said that there is no need to be afraid. He said that the plenary and foundation day meetings are to be organized on a large scale.

“TRS candidate Gelu Srinivas Yadav will win the bypoll in Huzurabad region. Since it was a minor issue, the party leaders should focus on strengthening the party from the village level. He also directed the ministers, senior leaders to ensure that all welfare and development programs reach the people and the needy sections. He said that we are not going to hold early elections and TRS will win the Huzurabad bypoll.

Promising to take up the programme, KCR said that the government would complete the ongoing development programs in the next two and a half years.
