Rajkot: A 23-year-old from Nesda village in Sehore taluka of Bhavnagar district tried to commit suicide along with her two young children due to domestic issues.
The woman Heera Dangar first forcibly poured acid on the throats of her daughter Tanvi (8) and two-year-old son Trilok and then drank the liquid. However, family members rushed the trio to a hospital in Bhavnagar and their condition is said to be stable on Saturday evening.
“Heera and Raghu were married for eight years. However, she wanted to separate from her extended family but Raghu did not agree. This was the trigger for the suicide attempt,” the police said.
