  • The Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered the National Investigation Agency (NIA) to probe the murder of a Hindu tailor in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The Anti-Terrorism Agency will investigate the involvement of any extremist or terrorist organization and foreign conspiracies in the case. A tailor, identified as Kanhaiya Lal, was murdered on Tuesday by two men who beheaded him and later a social media post in support of former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma spoke of killing the man. Admittedly uploaded a video. Police arrested both the accused and Rajasthan Police constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to investigate the matter. The Center had sent a four-member NIA team to Udaipur soon after the incident.
