Popular Marathi actor Madhavi Nimkar, who rose to fame after appearing in Star Parv’s show Sukh Mhenje Nakki Ke Asta, will be seen essaying the role of Matoshree Soyarabai Rani Sarkar in Digpal Lanjekar’s directorial Sher Shivaji.
As soon as Madhavi shared her first look from the film on Instagram, fans left a series of comments on her post appreciating her look in the film. He also wished Madhavi all the best for the project.

For Unverse, the trailer of Sher Shivraj was released recently. Viewers loved the battle scenes between Maratha soldiers and Adilshahi army shown in the trailer.
Chinmoy Mandlekar will be seen in the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Sher Shivraj, while Mukesh will play the role of Rishi Afzal Khan. Mukesh Rishi, who is making his Marathi debut with Sher Shivraj, looks convincing in the role of tyrant Afzal Khan.
The film stars Mrinal Kulkarni as Jijabai, Ajay Purkar as Tanaji Malusare, Sameer Dharmadhikari as Kanhoji Jedhe.
Varsha Usgaonkar will play a negative role in this film.
The plot of Sher Shivraj will not only focus on the assassination of Afzal Khan but also depict the unique warfare and psychological techniques Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj displayed during the mission. The film is the fourth part of a series of films based on the life of Chhatrapati Shiva, directed by Digpal Langekar. Lajenkar has previously directed Farzand, Fateshikaast and Pawankhind.
Sher Shivraj’s trailer has also been released in Metaverse, a first for any Marathi film.
The film is handled by Nitin Kenny’s Mumbai Movie Studio, Pradyot Pendharkar, and Anil Narayanrao Warkhade’s Rajvarsa Productions in association with Lanjekar and Mandlekar’s Moolakshar Productions.
Sher Shivraj will hit the theaters on April 22.
