The proceedings of the Lok Sabha were adjourned sine die today. The session, which ran till August 13, ended two days ahead of schedule. This was mainly due to the uproar by the opposition parties over the Pegasus espionage scandal. Out of the 96 hours allotted for the session, the work could not be completed for a total of 74 hours and 46 minutes.
