The producer of Ala Vaikunthapuramulu calls Kartik Aaryan ‘very unprofessional’

Producer Manish Shah revealed that actor Kartik Aaryan, who will next be seen in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s Hindi remake, Shahzada, threatened to walk out of the film if the dubbed Hindi version of the original film was released in theatres. He also called Kartik ‘extremely unprofessional’. Manish shared that he has the rights to the Hindi dubbed version of Ala Vaikunthapuramulu, which was supposed to release in theatres, but was canceled a few days back.

Speaking with India Today, Manish Shah said, “The makers of Shehzada were unwilling to release the Hindi version in theatres. Also, Kartik Aaryan said that if the film releases in theatres, he will opt out of the film. It will turn out to be a loss of ₹40 crore to the makers of Shehzada. It was extremely unprofessional for them.”

Manish also said, “I have known the makers of Shehzada for 10 years. I can’t have people who are close to me, who are losing ₹40 crores, so I left it. By doing this, I got ₹ Loss of 20 cr. I spent ₹ 2 cr. Only on dubbing. I wanted this film to be bigger than Pushpa: The Rise. If I don’t release the film, I lose money, so now I Releasing it on my channel. I would not have done anything for Kartik Aaryan, I did it only because of Allu Aravind. Why would I do this for a Bollywood hero? I don’t know him.”

Meanwhile, Ala Vaikunthapuramulu, written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, starred Allu Arjun, Pooja Hegde, Tabu, Jayaram, Sushant and Nivetha Pethuraj. It is produced by Allu Aravind and S Radha Krishna.

Shahzada’, which is touted to be an action-packed family musical film, also stars masterpiece i say, Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Allu Aravind, S Radha Krishna and Aman Gill, Shahzada will hit the theaters on November 4, 2022.
