Marvel Studios released the trailer for their upcoming superhero film The Marvels. The 33rd installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) features Brie Larson as Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel, Imaan Vellani as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel and Teyonna Paris as Monica Rambeau.
The trailer showcases how the mighty trio of fierce superheroes go ‘up, on, fast’ and unite to wreak havoc on the forces of evil to give fans a blockbuster cinematic thrill, which is all set to release in cinemas worldwide on 10th November coinciding with the festival of Diwali.
The trailer has received a positive response from viewers, who have praised the clip in the YouTube comments section. One netizen wrote, “This movie looks really fun”, while another said, “They switch places every time they use their powers, it’s a fun little detail. They literally have to be together, whether they like it or not.” Another comment read, “This trailer looks better than the previous one with action and some interesting stuff. Can’t wait to watch it.”
The film’s official synopsis reads, “Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel reclaims her identity from the tyrannical Kree and exacts revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences lead to Carol bearing the burden of an unstable universe. When her duties send her into an anomalous wormhole belonging to a Kree revolutionary, her powers are aided by Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel and Carol’s niece, who is now SABER.” becomes entangled. Starring Samuel L Jackson, Zawe Ashton and Park Seo-joon, The Marvelous will release in Indian cinemas this Diwali in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. The Marvels is directed by Nia DaCosta, who previously directed two films, Little Woods and Candyman.
