The post said, “Over the past few weeks, we have received a variety of messages from our favorite audiences. We have tried to respond to them. We have redesigned the cinema hall keeping in mind the modern audience. One lockdown weakened our mind but we tried to flip and open the cinema hall. But the second lockdown affected us the most. Even after spending crores of rupees, there was no income.”
The post further added, “Our future is uncertain and hence we are pulling down cinema hall screens forever without saying goodbye to our favorite audiences.” The cinema hall was decorated at a cost of crores of rupees. But under the pressure of lockdown, Rathindra has decided to close the cinema hall. This post has just spread on social media. It was the cinema hall named after the Khardha-Sodepur area. And so people got absorbed in the nostalgia of cinema halls. As a result, many people have expressed regret over the news of cinema hall closure.
On the other hand, Kolkata’s famous cinema hall Paradise was closed due to the epidemic. However, the cinema hall is about to open in a completely new avatar. It is learned that Paradise is also going to follow the same path as retail outlets have been set up at Prachi Cinema Hall.
