The Kerala Story declared tax-free in MP; CM Shivraj Chouhan says film exposes ‘Love Jihad’

Many termed it as a ‘propaganda film’, while some described it as ‘brilliant’. In a new development, The Kerala Story has been declared tax-free in Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, the CM insisted that everyone should watch the film which exposes the conspiracy of love jihad, conversion and terrorism.

Earlier, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Hindu organizations had demanded Chief Minister Chouhan to make The Kerala Story tax-free. Subsequently, in a new tweet today the MP CM revealed that the film was indeed made tax free.

The film throws light on the ‘love jihad’ propaganda, where Muslim men manipulate Hindu girls to convert to Islam and abandon their families. Speaking about the same, CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan Said, “The film The Kerala Story exposes the ugly face of love jihad, conversion and terrorism by exposing the conspiracy. This film tells how sentimentality destroys the daughters trapped in the trap of love jihad.” This film also exposes that ugliness. The design of terrorism and makes us aware of terrorist activities. In Madhya Pradesh we have made a law against religious conversion. Everyone should watch this movie, parents should also watch it, children Women should also watch it, daughters should also watch it and that’s why Madhya Pradesh government is making this film tax free.

Meanwhile, the film has created quite a buzz. Trade analysts expect that the box office collection of ‘The Kerala Story’ is going to be amazing and the film is likely to enjoy a good theatrical run. Ever since the release of the trailer, the film was under the scanner. Many demanded that the film should be banned. Following which, the film’s trailer narrative changed from ‘the story of 32,000 women’ to more recently the story of three women.
