The ceremonial scepter was kept in the Nehru Gallery of the Allahabad Museum and has been taken to Delhi for its installation in the new Parliament House. The historic scepter made of silver with a gold coat will be installed near the chair of the Lok Sabha Speaker.

The elderly couple was also featured in a special video explaining the significance and history of the scepter, shared on Twitter by Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur.
