Ramgarh: Ramgarh police found the body of a chief named Mukhiya on Monday. Mahesh Bediya from an abandoned mine of Central Coalfields Limited ,CCL) under Bhurkunda Police Station of Ramgarh District. He was missing since Sunday evening. Police said the body has been sent for post-mortem and investigation into his death is underway.
Bediya (42), who was the mukhiya of Bicha panchayat under Patratu On Sunday, he had left the house on a motorcycle for some work, but did not return. “His body was found from a vacant mine near Saunda-D project in Barka-Sayal area, 12 km from his house,” a police officer said. news network
