In such a situation, the number of Durga Puja Mandaps in the country has increased by 1,905 this year as compared to last year, ignoring the bloody eyes. As a result, the total number of Durga Puja Mandaps in Bangladesh has increased to 32,117.




It is known that there are 238 pujas in the capital Dhaka alone. Apart from this, where last year Sheikh Hasina’s government had given a grant of two crore rupees on the occasion of worship, this year the amount of that grant has been increased to one crore rupees.

Meanwhile, the eyebrows of Karona in Bangladesh have not yet gone away. Due to Corona, many guidelines have been issued in the country regarding worship and idol abandonment. Visitors are required to wear masks even when allowed to enter the pavilion. Apart from this, the priest will also have to wear a mask. Apart from this, the organizers have been instructed to wash hands with hand sanitizer or soap and ensure arrangement of thermal scanners at the entrance of the pavilion.

Meanwhile, the government has directed to make separate travel arrangements for men and women at the Durgapujo Mandap. Fairs, lights and cultural programs have been banned to prevent crowding. Also, the procession cannot be taken out during the sacrifice of the idols. Also, since it is the tenth Friday, the idol cannot be left from 12 noon to 3 pm due to Jumma prayers.
