The incident took place in Rabodi area of ​​Thane. Police officer Santosh Ghatekar of Rabodi police station said that a case has been registered against the 76-year-old accused under sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 506 of the IPC, in addition to the Arms Act. According to Ghatekar, the accused has confessed to his crime and told that he often used to fight with his 42-year-old daughter-in-law over petty issues. The same thing happened on Thursday at 11:30.

According to the victim’s family, when their daughter did not provide breakfast with tea, the accused got angry. He then took out his revolver and shot the daughter-in-law, injuring her.
