A shocking news has come out from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The mistake of two miscreants who were testing a country-made bomb in Lohra village of Sarai Inayat police station area here killed a 14-year-old child. Shubham, 14, who was passing by, got hit. The shrapnel got stuck in his throat and fell down there and started suffering. Blood started pouring out of his throat. Seeing this, both the miscreants fled from the spot. By the time the family took him to the hospital, he was already dead. The police have caught one of the accused.

The 14-year-old son of Vinod Kumar Bhartiya, resident of Babuganj Girdharpur village of Phulpur police station area, Shubham Kumar studied at his maternal uncle Arvind’s house. For the last two years, he lived in Lohra village and was a student of class eight at Hanumant Inter College, Hanumanganj. He was very good at reading. He was also cheerful and friendly. His death has shocked everyone in the village.

Around eight o’clock on Sunday evening, Shubham had left for the shop to get cold oil. On the way, two youths of the village were testing a country-made bomb by tying it. As soon as the miscreants threw the bomb on the wall, Shubham, who was passing by, got hit by a pellet of the bomb in his neck. He fell there bleeding. After Shubham was injured, both the youths fled from there. The people of the village informed Shubham’s maternal uncle’s house. He rushed to the hospital with him but he died due to excessive bleeding.
When the family members got to know about the death, there was uproar. The police also reached the spot after receiving the news of the boy’s death in the bomb blast. The police has arrested a youth. The search for the absconding second accused is on. The police have also written a report against both of them.
