The lawsuit states that the district threw her son and other students “… into the COVID-19 ‘snake pit’ because of reckless refusal to implement appropriate COVID-19 mitigation measures.” The lawsuit requests a class action status for the case, which could extend to any judgment in Wisconsin’s school districts. “There are a lot of parents out there who haven’t been able to bring a suit within their school district, but are frustrated with their school board being, you know, only the tallest people in the room, and don’t necessarily recommend that in this case.
