According to the trailer, Victory’s Beast is inspired by the 1988 Hollywood classic action film, Die Hard. Bruce Willis starred in the hit film and played New York City Police Department (NYPD) Detective John McClain. The plot of Die Hard revolves around the hostage crisis in a Los Angeles building caused by international terrorists.

In the film, John McClain flies to Los Angeles on Christmas Eve to spend some quality time with his family. He comes to Nakatomi Corp. Building for his wife’s office party. Some terrorists storm the building and take everyone hostage. John McClain’s wife has also been taken hostage by terrorists.

The terrorists aim to steal $640 million worth of untraceable bonds kept in a vault inside the building. The character of Willis fights the terrorists and rescues all the hostages.

A similar story follows the Beast, who turns Vijay into a mean and brutal killing machine to rescue the hostages.

In both films, the terrorists are unaware of the protagonist’s presence inside the building. Vijay’s fans are hoping that Beast matches the success of Die Hard and becomes a blockbuster.
