The Ashes: David Warner made a big prediction, says ‘Australia will beat England 4-0’

New Delhi: The historic Ashes series between Australia and England is going to be held after the T20 World Cup 2021. The series will start from December 8.

Australian opener David Warner has made a big prediction regarding the upcoming 2021 Ashes series. In a conversation with Sen Radio, he said that Australia will beat England 4-0 in this series.

Although Warner admitted that the series may be played in Australia but it is still going to be very challenging. “This series is going to be challenging. Glenn McGrath would have loved 5-0, but given the weather, I’ll go with a 4-0 win for Australia,” he said.

Warner has been battling poor form these days and that is why he was picked up for six matches for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) during the second half of IPL 2021 in Dubai. Even in the T20 World Cup, his performance so far has not been anything special.

On the other hand, former Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath had predicted that his team would beat England in the Ashes series. The first Test of the Ashes series will be played in Brisbane on 8 December.
