Thane: Thee Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) said Thane city reported 49 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, taking the total toll to 1,36,238.
However, today 44 patients were discharged from hospitals after fully recovering. The total number of positive patients who have been cured and discharged is 1,33,581.
One person with co-morbidity also succumbed to the infection. The death toll in Thane district rose to 2,069.
The recovery rate in TMC area is 98.05 per cent while the doubling rate is 2,001 days.
Out of 49 new cases, 21 positive cases were reported from Majiwada-Manpada. Seven positive cases were reported from Naupada, nine from Kalwa. Three each from Vartaknagar, Lokmanyanagar Was informed. One by one from Uthasar, Wagle, Diva was reported. And Mumbra saw two new Covid-19 cases today.
Also, a new Covid-19 case was reported from outside Thane’s jurisdiction.
