Thane: Elected representatives have alleged irregularities and demanded clarity in the manner in which the rental housing scheme is being implemented in Thane city. If approved by the mayor, the issue is likely to be discussed in the upcoming general body meeting as NCP Congress It has been decided to tighten the noose on the administration regarding the projects.

There is absolutely no transparency in the working of the administration and recently there have been cases of flats being given on lease to ineligible residents. The administration should register a case against the culprits.”
