Thalapathy Vijay’s film ‘Leo’ is the most awaited Tamil film of this year. The action-thriller is slated to hit the silver screens in October this year, however, ahead of its release, the film has run into legal trouble.

The makers of Leo released its first song ‘Na Ready’ on 22 June. The song became a chartbuster but a case has been filed against the team for glorifying drugs and hooliganism in the hit song.

An activist named RTI Selvam from Korukkuppettai, Chennai filed a complaint on 25 June and also filed a petition on 26 June. He demanded the court to take strict action against the team under the Narcotic Control Act. The complainant also criticized Vijay for smoking and consuming alcohol in ‘Na Ready’. He said that the actor encouraged the youth to consume drugs and alcohol.
