Thalapathy Vijay begins shooting for intro song for Leo, details here

New Delhi: Leo Thalapathy is Vijay’s upcoming high-profile film, and the production is going on smoothly. The most recent information was that a big size set has been built at Film City in Chennai for Vijay’s Leo entrance song. Choreographed by dance master Dinesh, the song reportedly has 500 dancers. The rehearsals of the song are going on since last one week and the recording of the song will take around four days.

Dinesh Master returned to work on Vijay’s Leo while Jani Master worked on Warisu. Dinesh contributed the song Vaathi Coming for Master, Lokesh’s first Vijay film. Anirudh is credited with writing another upbeat, energetic song for Thalapathy. Earlier, Anirudh had worked in four of Vijay’s films.

According to producer Lalith Kumar, Vijay requested that the audio launch be held outside Chennai. He said, “Vijay wants the audio launch to happen outside Chennai. They asked us to organize it in Trichy, Coimbatore or Madurai. We are working on its possibilities.”

Thalapathy Leo is Vijay’s second collaboration with filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. His first film was Master. Vijay and Trisha are reuniting for this film after ten years.

Priya Anand, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Gautham Menon and Sanjay Dutt join the cast. Sanjay Dutt plays the bad guy in his first Tamil film. Anirudh is providing the music for the film, with DOP by Manoj Paramhans and editing by Philomin Raj. The Root and 7 Screen Studios are the producers of Leo. The film is scheduled to release on October 19. As per insiders, the first look should be unveiled on June 22, which is Vijay’s birthday.
