Revealing the details about the digital deal, producer Vishnu Vardhan Induri explained the reason for a theatrical release saying, ” ₹55 crore is a small amount. I had fancy offers that saw me sitting on a lot of money. But my intention was to give it. The film is a theatrical experience. It’s done with so much passion and love, we want people to experience it in theaters first. I don’t want to go into details, but we did get our investment back. Had the film’s release delayed, I would have lost my money – that’s why I have now opted for theatrical release.”

Talking about the long-running debate between multiplex owners and the film team over the release of the Hindi version, Vishnu said, “We have made a great film. We want to show it to everyone across the country. Northern Some parts of the belt are still closed and there is no point in a theatrical release everywhere. I have only gone to the theater because of the love of the film and the audience, but at the same time I don’t want to take a commercially stupid step. I would if Maharashtra Had it been open then there would have been a 4-week deal with the multiplex. If night shows are closed in many places, then there is no point in the 4-week window. As a producer, I need to protect my investment Only then will I be able to make more good films. If I don’t recover my investment, I will suffer. I have recovered the amount from the non-theatrical deals that I have done.”
