At least two jawans were killed and several others injured in a major terror attack after a police bus was targeted by terrorists in Srinagar on Monday. The attack took place near a police camp in Jewan on the outskirts of Srinagar.

According to initial reports, the terrorists surrounded the bus and carried out the attack, Jammu and Kashmir DGP Dilbag Singh has given information in this regard.

DGP Dilbag Singh said, “The police bus was attacked at 6.15 pm. Terrorists surrounded a police bus and opened fire in Jewan area of ​​Srinagar. 2 jawans were martyred in the terrorist attack. Was on duty in Srinagar for the whole day, was returning.”

This is a major terrorist attack on the security forces in recent times and it has happened in an area where many camps of the security forces are located.
