Police officials said that some time back, Mukhtar Ahmed was arrested by the police in South Kashmir’s Pulwama. He has been imprisoned under the Public Safety Act for his links with terrorists. He got the SIM card in his name and gave it to his girlfriend living in Srinagar.

On this the police arrested Mukhtar. During the investigation, his girlfriend was questioned. He denied giving his phone to any unknown person. Terrorists ask for help from common citizens
According to the police, if terrorists or their overground workers use their mobile phones, they come under the surveillance of security forces. They take data from hotspots and carry out their activities by becoming close to the common people or by some kind of propaganda.
