Terrorist linkman Aniruddin arrested from Howrah, NIA interrogated

NIA interrogated madrassa teacher Aniruddin Ansari arrested from Howrah and got all the explosive information. Investigators claim that he helped at least two members of the banned Bangladeshi terror group Ansar-ul-Bangla. However, Aniruddin claimed that he did not know them. Detectives think it’s not true.

According to NIA sources, Aniruddin admitted that he had cut train tickets of two members of the banned militant group Ansar-ul-Bangla. He also gave them shelter. One of these goes to Bhopal and the other to Assam. However, Aniruddin claimed that he did not know the militants. He claimed that he did so at the request of an acquaintance.

Detectives have come to know that Aniruddin Purulia was a resident of Para. He had come to Howrah’s Bankra two years ago with a job as a madrasa teacher. After that he got involved in militant activities.

Ansar-ul-Bangla terrorist Faizal Ahmed was arrested from Bangalore on July 1. He was charged with the murder of independent blogger Anant Vijay Das. Being a resident of a nearby district of Assam, he also got a job in Bangalore by showing documents.

A special task force of the state police had arrested Aniruddin in March from Bankra in Howrah. After this the court sent him to jail. There the detectives interrogated him for a long time. According to NIA sources, they will take Aniruddin into custody if needed.
