Terror funding case: In the Terror Funding case, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) raided about a dozen places in the Kashmir Valley in the early hours of Tuesday. According to the information given by the officials, the investigating agency has detained a person for questioning. Raids were conducted at several places in Srinagar, Awantipora, Pulwama, Kulgam and Anantnag areas in connection with a terror funding case registered last year.
The NIA has taken one person into custody for questioning from Sojeth area of Srinagar. The detained person has been identified as Ishaq Ahmad Bhat.
Suspect’s father Mohammad Ramzan Bhat told PTI, “The NIA came between 5.30 am and 6 am.
“We have no connection with terrorism or stone pelting,” he said. Bilal Bhat, the brother of the detained man, claimed that Ishaq was illiterate and worked as a window glass fitter.
