Terrible result of love affair in Punjab: Firing in Batala, 4 people of same family killed, two seriously injured; Angry family members played a bloody game after the girl ran away

A very scary case has come to light in Batala, Punjab on Sunday morning. Here a family was fired upon for a love affair. Four people died in the incident, while two injured have been referred to Amritsar as their condition is critical. At present, the police is investigating the matter on the basis of various aspects.

The matter is of village Old Ballarwal of the area. The deceased have been identified as Mangal Singh (65) son Ujagar Singh, Sukhwinder Singh (35) son Mangal Singh, Jasvir Singh (32) son Mangal Singh and Babandeep Singh (22) son Jaspal Singh. His family members Harmandeep Singh and Jaspreet Singh have been injured. Both were first referred to Batala Civil Hospital and then to Amritsar. At the same time, the dead bodies have been kept in the marchery for postmortem.

After the information, the police of Ghuman police station reached the spot and started investigation. The injured Harman Singh, Jaspreet Singh and the relatives of the victims admitted to the Civil Hospital told that their brother had a love affair with a girl from the village itself. This morning the boy’s family was working in their fields and meanwhile the girl’s father and some other people came there and suddenly they attacked.

On the other hand, DSP Harkishan Singh said that Sukhwinder Singh Soni, resident of Ballarwal village, shot and injured six people of the same family. Two of them died on the spot, while two died on the way to the hospital. Two injured are undergoing treatment. Further action will be taken based on the statement of the injured.
