Chief Minister Bommai said, “Two committees headed by retired judges will be constituted to examine the tender estimates and conditions as decided by the state cabinet.”

He also said that he has ordered to bring in a system that automatically generates bills based on the work done and seniority by the contractors.

“The tenders should be completed within the stipulated time frame as any delay leaves room for doubt. Any irregularity in the tender process will come to the fore during scrutiny. However, in the recent letter written by the contractors to the Prime Minister in this regard, no Special information is not involved, inquiry has been ordered to ensure transparency.” he said.

According to sources, the PMO has demanded an inquiry into the allegations and orders are being given for the investigation as per the directions of the Central Government.
