Sai Dharam Tej injured in road accident
Telugu actor Sai Dharam Tej was injured after falling from a bike in Hyderabad on Friday night. According to the police, he was slipping on a sports bike and fell near the cable bridge in Madhapur area. He suffered multiple injuries and was taken by 108 ambulance to the nearby Medicover Hospital, reportedly in an unconscious state.
He was later taken to Apollo Hospital, where his condition is stated to be stable. A police officer from Madhapur police station said that the actor lost control of the vehicle and fell.
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s nephew Sai Tej is said to be a passionate biker. When he has no shooting schedule, he travels on a bike.
As news of the accident spread, film personalities and fans of the actor were wished for his speedy recovery. Megastar Chiranjeevi, and producer Allu Aravind, actor-politician Pawan Kalyan, actors Vaishnav Tej, Niharika, actor Sandeep Kishan and other family members reached Apollo Hospital and inquired about Sai Tej’s health.
Meanwhile, Apollo Hospital in a statement said that the condition of Sai Tej is stable and there is no major injury to the brain and spinal cord.
“He was intubated and kept on assisted respiration at the nearest hospital and later shifted here. As of now he is medically stable. Based on the preliminary investigation, there has been no major injury to the brain, spine and major organs. He suffered soft tissue injuries and a collar bone fracture,” the hospital said.
“They are being closely monitored and further evaluation will be done in the next 24 hours. There is no need for immediate surgical intervention,” the statement said.
