Telegram brings message responses, themed QR codes and other features – Times of India

whatsapp rival Wire Getting a new update that brings features like message responses, themes QR code, Big emoji animation even more. The app is getting its 12th update of the year which brings version 8.4.
Telegram has added message reactions to its app. They can now double tap on a message to send a quick response. For more responses, they can tap on the message and then hold down the message bubble. Each reaction appears with its own unique animation. Users can change the emoji in the app for this quick response under Settings > Stickers & emoji > Quick response.
The app is also getting support for “spoiler alert” messages. This feature will blur selected portions of text until a user clicks on the option. Users can select the text they want to hide while typing the message. To do this, tap B/I/U in the black popover menu and tap Spoiler.
Telegram is also getting in-app translation support for messages. To enable translation, go to Settings in the app, then select the Language & translation button in the context menu when selecting a message. Users can also exclude any language they speak fluently. This will hide the translate button for those messages.
Translate is available on all Android devices that support Telegram, but requires iOS 15+ on Apple devices.
Telegram users will now be able to generate QR codes. This feature will be available for users who have a public username. This also works for groups, channels, and bots. New interactive emoji have also been added to the app that can be shared in individual chats. Telegram has redesigned all context menus for macOS. It has added new shortcut prompts and introduced animated icons for every single menu item in the app.
