Hyderabad: 168 new Covid-19 cases and one death were reported in Telangana on Thursday. The number of active cases in the state stood at 4,171. The total number of cases since the start of the pandemic last year is 6,68,618 and the death toll is 3,935.
A total of 207 patients were declared healthy on Thursday, taking the total number of cured patients to 6,60,512. case fatality rate (CFR) is 0.58% while the recovery rate is 98.78%. So far, 79.78 per cent of the total cases in the state have been asymptomatic, while 20.1% have been symptomatic.
On Thursday, 31,442 samples were tested for the novel coronavirus. Telangana has now completed testing 2.69 crore samples and has reached to 7.23 lakh sample tests per million population. NS GHMC 57 cases were registered on Thursday, while the neighboring Medchal Malkajgiri 10 cases registered
