Telangana: Identity cards to be distributed to new voters on January 25 Hyderabad News – Times of India

Hyderabad: Voter ID cards will be distributed to newly registered voters on January 25 on National Voters’ Day. Summary revision of enrollment of new voters for those who have attained the age of 18 years, the reference date being January 1, 2022.
Following the instructions of Chief Electoral Officer Shashank Goyal, the administration is preparing to issue the EPIC card.
According to Ranga Reddy District officials will also be given a voter kit which includes a personal letter, a voter guide, a pledge and the EPIC. The cards will be collected from the CEO in Hyderabad on January 17 and will be taken to the districts for distribution. 4,217 new voters have been registered in Ranga Reddy district District Revenue Officer Haripriya, CEO Shashank Goyal held video conferencing with all district collectors on January 12 regarding voter enrollment and card distribution.
Jagtial District Officials said the revised voter list was prepared on January 5, which includes the names of those who have attained the age of 18 years. In the three assembly constituencies of Jagtial district, a total of 2,412 new voters were registered and would get their voter. ID card on January 25.
