HYDERABAD: Four youngsters died in a road accident in the Suryapet district on Friday. The mishap occurred when two bikes crashed into each other during the early hours at the Atmakur Mandal of Suryapet.
According to police, the deceased was B Aravind (20) of Thettekunta Thanda, D Anand (21) of Lakshminaik Thanda, B Naveen (21) of Bhotya Thanda and V Vinesh (19) of Epur Thanda of in Suryapet district.
Police said the accident occurred when the bikes coming from opposite directions crashed into each other at Nashimpet in Atmakur mandal at 2am.
While three victims died on the spot, Vinesh succumbed while undergoing treatment. Cops said overspeeding could be the reason for the accident.
A case was registered under section 304-a of the IPC. Bodies were shifted to Suryapet hospital for postmortem.
