Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that if the state government goes ahead with the move of constructing an Idgah in forest land for skill development center in defiance of the orders of the central government, it will have to pay a heavy price in the coming days. Letter

Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar has written a letter to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao alleging that the land used to build a vocational training center is being used to build an Idgah. He said the land in Nirmal town was forest land allotted by the Center but was later de-notified on the request of the state government.

“We strongly condemn the government’s act of allotting forest land to Idgah for public purposes to gain selfish political gains. It is unfortunate that State Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy and Home Minister Mehmood Ali are going to Chincholi today to personally start the works for construction of Idgah in forest land, defying rules that government land for religious purposes should not be allocated. the letter said.

“I am sure you must be aware that there are two Hindu places of worship close to the area where the Idgah is being constructed. While the allotment of land to unemployed youth is a big mistake, the construction of Idgahs close to Hindu temples that would create unrest between people of two communities would be a big crime,” Sanjay Kumar further wrote in the letter.

This is not the first time that the BJP chief has accused the BRS government of appeasement politics. In February this year, Bandi Sanjay Kumar had said that if voted to power, he would demolish the domes of the newly built secretariat, as they reflected the culture of the Nizams. The BJP has also promised to change the name of Hyderabad to Bhagyanagar.

In the letter he further wrote, “At a time when many unemployed youths have committed suicide due to the apathetic attitude of your government, I request you not to deprive them of at least skill development and employment training facilities. If the state If the government goes ahead with the step of making Idgah in the forest land for the skill development center in defiance of the orders of the Central Government, then it will have to pay a heavy price in the coming days.

He said: “The workforce in the IT sector in Telangana has grown from 3.23 lakh to nearly 10 lakh in just nine years. Hyderabad’s tech growth is truly explosive.
