Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav tied the knot with his longtime friend Rachel Godinho, now Rajshree, in a ceremony at Delhi’s Sainik Farms last week.

Tejashwi, son of former Bihar Chief Ministers Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi, was seen with his wife Rajshree at Patna airport on Monday.

When asked whether their marriage was no less important, Tejashwi Yadav said that the Sangh had the blessings of both the families. “We had already decided that after coming back to Bihar, a reception would be given among the people,” he said.

“We didn’t have much time as we were reaching the end of the auspicious time for weddings – that’s why we did what we could in the time given. Only family was part of the wedding, our sisters, their In-laws and our brothers,” Tejashwi Yadav said.

Tejashwi’s wife Rajshri told India Today, “All we wanted was our family to come together to bless our union.”

When asked how she felt about marrying a political leader, Rajshri said that she knew Tejashwi Yadav even before she entered public life.

Tejashwi Yadav said, “We have known each other for a long time. My father asked me if I want to get married and if I have any girl in my life. I told him about her and the family met and our union.” agreed to.” ,
