Tata to increase prices of its cars; See who won’t be affected

Tata Motors: Tata Motors has announced to increase the prices of its cars. The company will increase the prices of car models Punch, Nexon etc. from July 17.

It is worth noting that the new price will not be affected by those who book the car till July 16. Apart from this, the increased price will not affect the delivery of the car till July 31.

Increase in prices of all models including electric vehicles

According to the information, Tata will increase the prices of all its cars. The statement issued by Tata Motors said that the prices are being increased to counter the effect of increase in raw material cost.

The company will increase the prices of its passenger vehicles by an average of 0.6 percent. The hike will be applicable across all models and variants including electric vehicles.

80,383 units sold in June

If we look at the sales figures of Tata Mortar last June, it has increased by one per cent year-on-year. Tata sold a total of 80,383 units of its cars. Whereas in June 2022 this number was 79,606 units.

According to Tata, sales of passenger vehicles including EVs in the domestic market have increased by 5 per cent. The company sold a total of 47,235 vehicles in this segment. Whereas in June, 2022 this number was 45,197.

8% increase annually

Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, said that the demand in the passenger vehicle industry has increased in the first quarter of the current financial year.

This demand was mainly from new vehicles, especially SUVs and electric vehicle segments. He said Tata Motors sold 1,40,450 vehicles in the first quarter of the current financial year with an annual growth of 8 per cent.
