Reports state that Tamizharasan Pachamuthu, who worked as an assistant director and writer in the film Nenjuku Needhi, will be directing actor Harish Kalyan’s new film.
Further information related to the film has not been revealed yet. Prince Pictures will control the film. Nenjuku Needhi star Udayanidhi Stalin and director Arunaraja have congratulated Tamizharsan on his next big feat in the industry.
Also the yet-to-be-titled film, Tamizharasan acted as Manu Anand’s first assistant director in FIR. The FIR narrates the story of Irrfan, whose life is hurt by media trials. Will Irfan be able to start a normal life after being accused of terrorism by the media? Is there anything else about Irrfan that is yet to be known? The FIR answers these questions. Vishnu Vishal, Manjima Mohan, Gautam Vasudev Menon, Reb Monica John and others are a part of this film.
Apart from FIR, Tamizharasan also worked as an assistant director in SIGAI, which narrated the story of a pimp looking for a sex worker in Chennai. Based on the Korean film The Chaser, SIGAI was a box office failure. The audience criticized SIGAI’s dialogues, screenplay and acting.
After the failure of SIGAI, the film was a source of relief for Kana Tamizharasan. Tamizharasan served as an associate director for Kana, which gave an account of a woman from a middle-class family’s desire to excel in cricket. In these endeavors she is supported by her father. Kana was a success at the box office.
After the success of Kana, FIR and Nenjuku Nidhi, there are high expectations from Tamizharasan. The film marks his first full-length directorial venture with Harish, after working as an assistant and associate director.
Talking about Harish, he is as of now working on a titled film directed by Sasi. The film is currently in the production stage.
