Tamil Nadu Board Higher Secondary Examination (HSE) 2023 has released the 12th class result. Between March 13 and April 3, over 8 lakh students had appeared for the exam. Students can check their scorecard from the official websites. Tamil Nadu Board, dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in, Along with releasing the result, the board has also updated the students of the supplementary examination.

Students are advised to pay the amount after completing the supplementary exam application process soon. The board will re-issue the admit card to the student and a new center for the exam. Other guidelines for supplementary exams will be shared after the deadline. This year 8,03,385 students appeared for the class 12 board exams and the overall pass percentage stood at 94.03 per cent.

The pass percentage of girls is 96.38 percent, while the pass percentage of boys is 91.45 percent. Puducherry secured the lowest pass percentage of 93.45 per cent, while Kanyakumari recorded the highest pass percentage of 97.05 per cent. The pass rate for science stream was 6.32 per cent, followed by commerce at 91.63 per cent, arts at 81.89 per cent and vocational at 82.11 per cent.

If the candidates are not satisfied with their results or want to inquire about their marks, they can request for revaluation of their answer sheets. Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations Will monitor the revaluation process. The registration for revaluation begins on May 15 and ends on May 21, 2023. Tamil Nadu Board students need to score a minimum score of 35 out of 100 in each subject to pass the TN Board Class 12 exam in 2023.

Students who get 90 per cent or more marks in class 12th exam will be given A1 grade, while those who get 81-90 per cent marks will be given A2 grade. Moreover, the National Informatics Center (NIC) will make the HSC results accessible to all.
