Tamil Nadu Class 10 Board Exam 2023 Begins Today, Check Guidelines to Follow

As per the official schedule, the Tamil Nadu Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exam will begin at 10 am and end at 1.15 pm.

The Directorate of Government Examinations (DoGE), Tamil Nadu State will start the Class 10th Board Exam 2023 from today, 6th April. As per the official schedule, the Tamil Nadu Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exam will start and end at 10 am. 1.15 p.m. Students who are going to give Tamil Nadu 10th Board Exam are advised to download their hall ticket from official website dge.tn.gov.in. They are also requested to read all the information mentioned in it.

Students will appear for Part – 1 language paper on the first day of TN Class 10 board exam. All the appearing students will get 10 minutes reading time for the respective question paper and another five minutes for verifying the details on the answer sheet by the candidates.

TN SSLC Exam 2023: Exam Day Instructions

-Students should reach the examination venue well before time to avoid last minute rush.

All the students are advised to carry their admit card and school ID to the exam centre.

Candidates should report at the examination venue in their respective school uniform.

-They are further requested to follow the Covid-19 protocol inside and outside the examination hall.

Any kind of electronic device/item is strictly prohibited by the board inside the examination hall.

-Students should carry their own stationery items as specified by the Board.

TN SSLC Exam 2023: Time Table

-April 6: Part I The First Language

-April 10: Part II English or another language

April 13: Part III Mathematics

April 15: Part IV Optional Language

-April 17: Part III Science

-April 20: Part III Social Science

As per media reports, more than 10 lakh students will appear in the TN Class 10 exam this year in 3,986 centres.

To pass the TN Board Exam 2023, students need to score minimum 35 marks out of 100 in each subject. This rule is applicable even if you pass in compartmental subjects. Candidates who have failed in one or more subjects can apply for compartmental examination. Meanwhile, as per the Information Bulletin 2023, the Tamil Nadu Class 10 supplementary exams will be conducted in June or July.
