Tamil director Ameer Sultan’s daughter Ani Nisha got married to a man named Mustafa in a private hall in Karuppayurani area (Madurai), according to Islamic rules. Naam Tamil Party Chief Coordinator Seeman, film directors Cheran, Vethimaran, Pon Vannan, Sasikumar and Karu, were amongst the guests at this intimate wedding. Palaniappan actors Arya, Ganja Karupu, lyricist Snegan and Varichiyur Selvam were among the celebrities who were a part of this wedding. The guests were welcomed by Ameer, the happy father beaming with joy for his daughter in the ceremony. Samuthirakani and others participated in the special workshop held after the wedding. The wedding had a strictly ‘no gift’ policy.

After the wedding rituals, many people congratulated the bride and groom and took group photographs with them. At the ceremony, a separate stage was set up and explanations about Islam and the Quran were given to the aspirants.

The highlight of the wedding is that no gifts or money for the bride and groom were brought by anyone who came to the wedding. High security was seen at the venue.

Ameer Sultan is a veteran director in the Tamil film fraternity. He has earned a lot of regard and respect in the industry by virtue of his good work and respecting nature. He has entertained the audiences through years. Before entering the world of cinema, Ameer studied economics and was an entrepreneur. The journey as a filmmaker for him began in 1978 with Aaravam, following which he has had a long career in the industry with several other films in his bag. Sethu (1999) and a few others like Mounam Pesiyadhe (2002), Raam (2005), Paruthiveeran (2007), and Yogi (2009). In his run as a filmmaker, he has worked with the likes of big names of Priyamani, Dhanush, Sathya and Ganja Varupu.
