Tamil actor T Rajendra to leave for US for treatment

Popular Tamil actor and director T Rajendra, who is not keeping well for the past few weeks, will leave for the United States this evening for treatment. Two weeks ago, Rajendra was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai following stomach pain.

After examination by the doctors, it was found that he had internal bleeding in his stomach. Doctors suggested him for further treatment for which he is being taken to America. Rajendra remained in the hospital for a few days to recover and his condition is stable now.

His son and actor Simbu has already left for the US to make arrangements for his father’s treatment. Before leaving, Simbu told that Rajendra’s condition is fine and he is doing well.

Earlier there was news that the actor would go to Singapore for treatment, but later the decision was changed.

According to reports, the popular filmmaker will be admitted to a hospital in the United States on June 16. Rajendra will be accompanied by his family members as the treatment is expected to continue for more than a week. He will return to Chennai after treatment after a few days of rest. T Rajendra fans are hoping for a speedy recovery.

Rajendra is a well-known name in the Tamil film industry and has worked as an actor, director, music director, cinematographer, producer and distributor. He has also appeared in several popular Tamil films, including Veerasamy, Kadhal Ajivathillai and Sonal Than Kaadhala. He also directed several hits in the 1980s, including Orai Tharai Raagam and Rail Payangalil.

Apart from Simbu, Rajendra’s second son Kuralarasan is also an actor who has worked with his father.
