Happy Raksha Bandhan, everyone. Not just us, but our favourite celebrities are also making it a point to mark the day with utmost joy. Actress Tamannahh Bhatia has also joined the list. She took a stroll down memory lane and posted a throwback picture with her brother Anand Bhatia. Along with the pic, the Baahubali actress penned a heartfelt note on Instagram Stories, “Happy Raksha Bandhan to the best brother ever. Missing our bachpan ki masti and you a little extra today. Pamper me soon.” In the photo, which is from Tamannaah’s childhood album, she is seen sitting on the floor in a pink cut-sleeve top paired with blue jeans. Anand looks cute in a blue and white striped shirt and beige shorts.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Tamannaah Bhatia is currently riding high on the success of the horror-comedy film Stree 2 in which she appeared in a guest appearance role. Not just that, she also captivated the audience with her sizzling dance moves in the song Aaj Ki Raat.
Helmed by Amar Kaushik and backed by Maddock Films, Stree 2 starred RajKummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Aparshakti Khurana and Pankaj Tripathi. Interestingly, the film also had special cameos by Akshay Kumar and Varun Dhawan.
As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Stree 2 entered the Rs 200 crore club in just four days of its release. On Sunday, the film minted a whopping Rs 58.20 crores which took its overall 4-day collection to Rs 204 crore Nett India.
Apart from this, Tamannaah Bhatia is also receiving praise for her special appearance in John Abraham and Sharvari Wagh starrer Vedaa, which was released alongside Stree 2 on the occasion of Independence Day.
As per Sacnilk.com, Vedaa minted Rs 3.2 crore on Sunday, which took the film’s overall four-day collection to Rs 14 crore.
Tamannaah Bhatia will be next seen in the upcoming Tamil-language supernatural thriller Odela 2. Helmed by Ashok Teja, the film also stars Hebah Patel and Vasishta N Simha. She also has an Amazon Prime web series titled Daring Partners alongside Diana Penty in her kitty.
