Talja man touches electrified fence, dies. Rajkot News – Times of India

Rajkot: A 40-year-old man from Bhegali village in Talja taluka of Bhavnagar district was electrocuted after accidentally touching an electric fence put up by a farmer around his field to protect the crop from wild animals. . The deceased has been identified as Khoda Dabhi, a resident of village Bhegali.
According to Mota Khuntwara police, a case of culpable homicide and concealment of evidence has been registered against Bhupat Zetapara, brother of the village sarpanch. Zetapara is absconding.
On the night of 21 August, Dabhi had left his house for fishing in the river Shetrunji. Police said that his family was worried when he did not return home till morning.
“We went to the river in search of him and also informed the police about his missing brother. Later on the same day his body was found from Kalu Kakadia’s farm. He had a spot of blood near his ear and unusual injuries to his legs.. The postmortem revealed that he died of electrocution,” Deva, brother of the deceased, said in his police complaint.
The police came to know that Bhupat Zetapara had put up an electric fence around his farm. During the investigation, it emerged that Zetapra threw the victim’s body in a nearby field to destroy the evidence. Later he removed the wire fence and buried it in his field. The police noticed the marks left by dragging the dead body in the field of Jetapara.
