Taliban leaders in Baradar discuss the deaths of Haqqani, Akhundzada: Report

The dispute was going on for a long time. This time, the conflict between Mullah Baradar, the deputy prime minister of the internal Taliban government in Afghanistan, and the Haqqani network has intensified. This has been claimed in the British magazine The Spectator. According to the magazine, Baradar has been taken into custody. There are rumors of the death of Taliban leader Haibatullah Akhundzada.

The Taliban and the Haqqani network have been fighting for power since the fall of Kabul on August 15. Meanwhile, a British magazine reported on Monday that clashes broke out between the Baradar group and the Haqqani network earlier this month over government formation in Afghanistan. The Haqqani network is supported by Pakistan’s ISI. So that the important posts of the Taliban government will go into the hands of people loyal to Pakistan. That’s why the ISI is voting for members of the radical Haqqani network.

What really happened at that meeting in early September? According to a British magazine report, the Haqqani network called Baradar a “big loser”. During this a fight broke out on both sides. During the meeting, Khalil-ul-Rahman of Haqqani Network got up from his chair and started punching Baradar. The allotment was not received for a few days after that clash. Later he re-emerged in Kandahar. The allocation has been discussed with various leaders. It was also forced to issue a video message to Taliban-controlled media. The Spectator claimed that the message was “like a captive video.”

Akhundzada claimed in The Spectator that the whereabouts of the Taliban leader were not known. “He has not been seen or heard from for several days,” the report said. There are rumors from some circles that Akhundzada has died.
