French pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati failed to make it to the final of the Paris 2024 Olympics after he dislodged the bar as his crotch came in contact with the crossbar. The athlete’s quest for a medal was dashed with the failed attempt to clear the crossbar, in what went viral on social media platforms.
According to reports, an adult website, CamSoda, has now extended the athlete a whooping sum of $250,000 in exchange for a cam show in a bizarre offer.

Sources also shared a glimpse of the offer sent in by the website to the French athlete with some jestful choice of words.
“Although you didn’t bring home the gold medal, you can still capture the gold from your fans via CamSoda – that has to count for something, right?” the letter from the adult website read.
“Plus, you won’t have those restrictive compression shorts holding you back, so feel free to let it all out and show the world why you should have your own Olympic competition next time around,”
CamSoda’s Vice President, Daryn Parker, said, “If it was up to me, I’d award Anthony Ammirati for what everyone else saw—talent below the belt.”
“As a lover of crotch-centric activities, I’d love to offer you up to $250,000 in exchange for a 60-minute webcam show in which you show off your goods, minus the crossbar, of course,” he added.
Ammirati, reflected on technical tunings as the reason for missing out on the coveted qualification to the medal round following his exit at the quadrennial stating, “I’m a bit gutted because I didn’t miss anything on the third attempt at 5.70m,” the pole vaulter said.
“What I did miss was a bit of jumping in training to fine-tune the settings. Just a technical session,” he added.
