It seems Taimur Ali Khan is all set to take his grandfather Mansoor Ali Khan’s cricket legacy forward as the star kid was seen practicing at Lord’s indoor nets.

Saif Ali Khan and his family are currently vacationing in London. And it seems Saif and Kareena Kapoor’s elder son Taimur has begun learning cricket at the Lord’s in the British capital. A video of Taimur practicing batting at Lord’s indoor nets was shared by the official Instagram handle of International Cricket Masters recently.

In another, posted by the handle, Saif Ali Khan can be heard explaining the concept of clubs, county to his son. He tells Taimur, “Your great-grandfather played for Worcestershire, and your grandfather captained Sussex.” Saif Ali Khan’s father Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his first-class debut for Sussex in August 1957 at the age of 16 and also played for Oxford while he was studying there.

Saif and Kareena jetted off to London a few days back with their kids, Taimur and Jeh. Away from the hustle and bustle of B-town, Kareena has been treating her fans to some endearing clicks from her holiday. Earlier, the Jaane Jaan actress dropped a carousel of gorgeous images from her family vacay. Saif also made a surprising appearance in one of the pictures. Kareena captioned the pictures, “For me, it’s the one with the photobomber.”

Interestingly, Kareena recently clocked 24 years in Bollywood. On the occasion, she shared a bundle of snippets from her debut movie, Refugee, with a short note. Kareena wrote, “24 years of discovering myself and my characters …The best is yet to come… Love you all.”

Refugee, released in 2000, featured Kareena Kapoor Khan in the role of ‘Nazneen Ahmed’, who falls in love with an orphaned young man (Abhishek Bachchan) amid border tensions and terror attacks, between India and Pakistan. Notably, the actress was only 18 when she was offered this role.
